DESCRIPTION: This is a beautiful set of 4 dinner plates 10 3/4 diameter in the White pattern. The simplicity of these plates makes them the perfect accent to fill out so many patterns.We have 2 sets of 4. The first set has the mark on all 4 plates of the plate labeled Plate #2. The second set has the mark of Plate #4 on all 4 plates. CONDITION: The condition of this decorative dinner plate set is superb, even though it is classified as used. This would make great display set or a functional set to use everyday.
We can find no manufacturing defects or damage. There are no chips, nicks, cracks, scratches, rubbings or hairlines. There are very, very light short utensil scratches in center of plates, visible only in bright light when held at the right angle.Please refer to the photos to see how classically beautiful this is. Godden's Encyclopaedia of British Pottery and Porcelain Marks as mark #4098 used starting in 1962. The plates like Plate #4 have the mark cited by the website marks4ceramics as mark #57 that is the newer Wedgwood mark used circa 2000+.
