32 Piece 1950's Vintage Homer Laughlin Rhythm Capri Pattern Ivory color with "feathery charcoal lines tipped with pink" (see original ad in pictures) and 22K platinum rims. Described by Homer Laughlin as "semi-porcelain" and manufactured in Newell, West Virginia. Absolutely a quintessential MCM dining experience with this pink and black modern pattern! Designed by Don Schreckengost, Rhythm was a plain round coupe shape line of dinnerware developed in the spring of 1950. Rhythm was put into production on September 25, 1950, and was made with decals and in five solid colors: burgundy, chartreuse, forest green, gray, and Harlequin yellow.
Solid colored Rhythm was part of the general trade and was carried by many retailers. Rhythm flatware was sometimes paired with hollowware from other shapes to create new lines. Rhythm flatware was often mixed with Cavalier Eggshell hollowware.32 Piece Lot Set Homer Laughlin Rhythm Capri MCM 4 COMPLETE 7-Pc Setting - complete for four people!
