New Old Stock Vintage 1950s Fire King Pink Swirl Dinnerware 12 Piece Set
I have only seen this set for sell online once before! This exceptionally preserved 12-piece dinnerware starter set features Anchor Hocking's beloved Pink Swirl pattern, produced in the postwar era (late 1940s-early 1950s). Each piece is made of opaque white Fire-King glass with a fired-on pastel pink finish and the classic Swirl ribbed design. What makes this set particularly special is its transitional branding. Glassware marking - Every piece is embossed on the underside with Fire-King - Oven Ware - Made in U. Denoting its premium heat-proof production. Packaging label - The original retail box proudly displays the earlier AnchorGlass branding, used by Anchor Hocking during the period when Fire-King was first introduced. This crossover of Fire-King-marked dinnerware in AnchorGlass packaging is highly sought after by collectors for its historical significance, representing a brief window when Anchor Hocking shifted marketing focus from general "heat-proof" dinnerware to the now-iconic Fire-King name. Every piece in the set has a foil sticker except three saucers. I would imagine that's the way they were packed. Condition: All pieces are unused, with original gloss and color intact, showing no wear or utensil marks. Original box is included with vibrant graphics and intact labels.
