2 - Saucers - Ø 6 - pic. 17, 18, please note sizes are approximate. All whiteware in a very good vintage condition, just one of salad plates missing some more gold on the rim than others. Franz Heinrich started his porcelain painting business in Selb, Bavaria Selb in 1896. He constructed a muffle kiln in his parent's house. Initially just one female worker was helping him. Five years later in 1901 he started producing his own whiteware. Porzellanfabrik Heinrich Selb became one of the largest porcelain producers in Germany. Franz Heinrich passed away in 1928.In 1929 Heinrich & Co took over another Selb factory, Gräf & Krippner. In 1930s there were 500 employees in the Heinrich factory.
In 1945 the company ably resumed production. In 1970s employment rose to 800.
