Elegant pre war Eschenbach 86 piece dinner setting for 12 in white porcelain with pink roses, gold branch/leaves and 24 karat gold trim Eschenbach style number (Epp862 with rim). This dinner set will evoke the Victorian Era lifestyle of elegance and sophistication where impeccable table manners, formal attire for dinner conjoined with 24k gold and hand painted dinnerware were the order of the day. The set shows no wear on top and almost no wear on the bottom.
It belonged to my Great Grandparents who came over to the United States from Europe at the turn of the 20th century (early 1900's). It has been in our family for over 100 years. The set includes the full complement of serving pieces with a 6 piece place setting of dinner plate, soup bowl, salad plate, bread plate, dessert bowl, tea/coffee cup and saucer. 1 Oval serving bowl (9.5). 1 Round serving bowl (9).
