Vintage LYNGBY Denmark Blue & White Porcelain China Cream & Sugar. The business has been based in the Washington, D. This beautiful Danish porcelain cream and sugar set is a vintage MCM blue and white masterpiece. This is a beautiful blue and white pair. Mix and match them with white or blue and white pieces in your collection from Scandinavia or other countries (that have also produced exceptional blue and white hand painted china). Each piece in this cream and sugar set has the LYNGBY DANMARK logo / mark on the bottom printed in green. They are both in excellent used vintage condition. There seems to be no evidence of use or wear. We did notice (when we acquired the set) that the handle of the pitcher is not totally perpendicular to the side of the pitcher. It is at a slight angle. We love the design, the shapes, and the beautiful cobalt blue handpainted decoration of these two classic mid century modern pieces. The decoration on these retro pieces is classic and timeless --- so you can use them with other streamlined modern pieces --- or with more traditional blue and white pieces.
