This gorgeous vintage Mid Century Modern Porcelain Coffee/Tea Set By Bidasoa of Spain is a stylists delight: simple pattern, sleek lines, elegant silver electroplating. The oblong plate, pitcher, creamer and sugar dish juxtaposes nicely with the circle motif.

The pattern is Reflections Creation which was apparently discontinued in 1992. We dont know the particular year this set was made, but the mark on the undersides display the Bidasoa name surrounded by laurels. This is a different stamp than the Block Bidasoa mark that seems to be much more common on available pieces of this pattern.

Our guess is that this is an older vintage than Block Bidasoa, but frankly we arent sure of the company history. This 8 piece cup/saucer set includes coffee pitcher, sugar dish and creamer.

The lid to the coffee pitcher has a very minor pit on the inside under portion measuring less than 1/8. It is not visible when the pitcher is in use. Happy to send a detailed pic of the pit. Sets like this dont come along often.

Currently there are only Block Bidasoa individual pieces available at the usual online sources. Because there is no wear on the bottoms of any of the pieces, we suspect that this set sat in a curio cabinet and was hardly (if ever) used.
